Supporting Families
We are a social enterprise working to improve access to speech and occupational therapy in regional Australia. Part of that remit is to support families in need by offering subsidised funding for therapy or assessments for people who would otherwise be unable to afford services. We do this through our social impact fund.
This is known as Access Pricing and is determined on a case-by-case basis.
Access Pricing
Access pricing may provide a discount or payment plan to those who cannot afford to pay, through a set of criteria. In order to apply for Access Pricing you will need to complete our onboarding process and undertake a 15 minute call. Once that is complete, we will send you a form and an assessment will be made.
We will aim to support our client as best we can however we cannot provide funding support to families or clients who have alternative funding such as the NDIS or funding by an organisation. Clients will be asked if they have access to other funding means, have a health care card or a disability support pension.
Alternatively we can provide advice to people as to where to access other forms of financial support such as interest free loans.
Access pricing is only available to people paying individually/privately. Those who have funding from an organisation of the NDIS are not eligible for access pricing. For further information on our pricing please refer to this page: https://umbo.com.au/pricing/
If undertaking an assessment, all invoices must be paid in full before a report will be provided.
