Adam prides himself on being able to build rapport with clients through respectful and genuine communication and engagement, to ensure any assessment and intervention is a valued, positive process, so that they can work together towards their goals.
He graduated from La Trobe University Melbourne in 2014 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Occupational Therapy Practice, and also completed further study in 2021 with a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology and Rehabilitation Studies.
He worked at Western Health in Melbourne from 2015-2023, working with adults and older adults across various settings. Most recently, he worked within Western Health’s GEM@HOME program as the senior OT for more than a year, before choosing to take a change of scenery and enter the NDIS space.
He has been working in a telehealth NDIS OT role since late 2023 and is excited to continue this work with Umbo.
Adam is passionate about bridging the gap for vulnerable populations regarding access to occupational therapy, and loves playing his part in ensuring these people can have timely access to important assessment and intervention, to achieve their goals.
