Alex is a generalist Occupational Therapist who seeks to support adults and older adults from various populations and backgrounds. Graduating in 2019, Alex has worked in physical and mental health inpatient rehabilitation and acute settings across NSW, working within the pilot program at the National Centre for Veterans Health, and defining her current interests in the community NDIS space.

Alex likes to support people in meaning-making; especially play, leisure, sensation, creativity, social and vocational pursuits. Alex has experience in rural and remote health, having completed a life-changing placement in the Pilbara in aged care and working at Bloomfields Mental Health, Orange, in psycho-geriatric and adult acute and rehabilitation caseloads.

Utilising a philosophical. systems-thinking approach, Alex is eager to support people with accessing the appropriate services they may require to live an independence, autonomous and meanignful life.
Her interests are also involved in yoga and mindful movement, having completed a yoga teacher training with Jivamukti School in Sydney, before teaching donation-based classes in the community and advocating for yoga as a supportive mindfulness tool for veterans in the mental space.
