Speech Pathologist

Carmen has been practicing as a Speech Pathologist since 2018, and has worked with both paediatric and adults clients in schools, rehabilitation and hospital environments. She is dedicated to providing meaningful and client-centred care, working closely with families and clients to help them achieve their goals.
Carmen has extensive experience with the assessment and management of dysphagia, aphasia and cognitive-communication difficulties related to neurodegenerative disease and acquired brain injury (e.g. stroke, cancer, TBI) with adult clients. She has also worked with paediatric clients providing support with developmental language and speech difficulties, literacy and social communication.
Outside of work, Carmen enjoys travelling, reading and learning to surf.
