Claire grew up in regional VIC/NSW, and has spent most of her 18 years as a Speech Pathologist working in remote Indigenous communities in northern Australia. In addition, she was the Speech Pathology Coordinator of OIC Cambodia and the co-founder and Manager of Happy Kids Clinic in Phnom Penh, and remains as a board member.
Claire is committed to people in rural Australia having access to high quality services that are accessible and relevant. She is also a big believer in developing good governance and management to support and grow a stable and capable health workforce.
Claire has post-graduate qualifications in Applied Linguistics, Remote Health Management and Governance.
