“I have always been both creative and drawn to people after a challenging childhood, I like understanding people, their motivators, interests and what makes them, them, so I fell into OT which places people in the centre and allows me to be creative and support all the parts that make up a person”.

Hayley is an Occupational Therapist who graduated from La Trobe University Melbourne in 2014 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Occupational Therapy Practice. She has worked across a range of adult and paediatric settings in Victoria, including homes, kindergartens, schools, hospitals and community health centres. She is also NBCOT registered as an Occupational Therapist in the United States, including New York City.

Hayley is passionate about supporting children and adults to thrive and engage in life in meaningful ways. She particularly enjoys working with children and has a longstanding interest in supporting people with Autism. In 2018, Hayley travelled internationally, volunteering in clinics and hospitals and gaining a broader perspective on healthcare, Occupational Therapy and the diverse experiences that shape people’s lives.

Her clinical experience spans paediatric and adult Occupational Therapy, with a particular focus on supporting participation, engagement and meaningful goals across everyday environments. She also brings three years of experience as a behavioural and play-based therapist supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Hayley is committed to continuing to expand her knowledge and develop her practice across different areas of Occupational Therapy.

Hayley’s approach is warm, creative, holistic and person-centred. She values collaborative, team-based and family-centred care, taking the time to understand each person’s experiences, strengths and individual needs. She believes consumer experiences should guide therapy and is passionate about finding flexible and accessible ways to support people, including through the growing opportunities offered by online therapy.
