Lives on Dharawal Land (she/her)
Languages Spoken: English

Heather works with school-aged children and young adults, and with the important people in their lives who support them. Heather uses a neuroaffirming, trauma-informed, evidence-based approach to build connections with the young people she works with, and to identify barriers and help find strategies that are the right fit so that they can participate meaningfully in all the everyday parts of life that matter to them.

Heather has a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and has been practicing as an occupational therapist for three years. During her time as an OT, she has worked primarily within the NDIS system and has experience providing online OT. She has completed additional professional training, including training in the Collaborative and Proactive Solutions approach (Ross Greene), the EASE framework for supporting students with ADHD, and Neurodiversity Affirming Practice training. Prior to becoming an OT, Heather worked as a disability support worker and volunteered for many years with children and teens in Out of Home Care (foster care) on school holiday camps.
