Jo works with clients and families across the lifespan and enjoys working with various presenting difficulties and diagnoses.  Jo is a neuro-affirming therapist working towards identifying strengths in an individual and takes a functional approach to therapy. Jo believes in a multidisciplinary approach to support clients and works with schools and other important stakeholders to achieve client goals.

Jo’s strength is her ability to build rapport with clients of all ages and ensure that therapy is interactive and functional as well as being lots of fun. Jo loves working via Telehealth and finds that there is increased flexibility to engage children due to the multiple online resources available to suit clients’ personalities and interests. 

Jo has worked as a practicing Speech Pathologist for 3 years completing her Bachelor of Speech Pathology  and Certificate III in Disability Support Work in Perth, WA. Jo has also undertaken training in the Sounds Write phonics program which supports children and adolescents with improving their ongoing literacy skills. Before completing her Bachelor in Speech Pathology, Jo was a disability support worker for many years and eventually became a company trainer to mentor and induct new support workers into the sector.  When not working, Jo enjoys playing softball and spending time with her two dogs.
