Kate works with Neurodivergent children and their families to support their ability to communicate meaningfully. She focuses on strengths to find ways to support children to develop skills that will allow them to participate in whatever they choose to do.

Kate supports families to find the communication systems that work best for them which can include Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. Kate believes that there is not best way to communicate your message and then all forms of communication are important. She works with a variety of NDIS clients to support their individual needs.

Kate also supports families to help with positive mealtimes. She works with families to encourage positive mealtimes aiming to reduce the challenges around eating for many of her clients and families. Kate has a bachelors degree in Child Development and received a Masters Degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Sydney. She has completed additional training in Natural Language Acquisition (Gestalt Language Processing) and Responsive feeding practices from Feeding Therapy Australia.
