Occupational Therapist

Kristie describes herself as a generalist Occupational Therapist as she is passionate about enabling all individuals to reach their potential in day to day life. She works with people throughout their lifespan and is not subjected to work with a particular clientele. Kristie has a background in massage therapy and has always had an interest in the disability sector. Over the course of her Occupational Therapy degree she became increasingly aware of social influence and therapy services gap for all type of people. Having access to healthcare and finding the right fit was always a challenge for all members of the community. Her clinical expertise has broadened since her recent return to work from parental leave giving her a new outlook on life and passion for working with people. Thriving to normalise therapy and change of the stigma association with assistance. She has experience in NDIS, TAC and MyAgedCare funding schemes.
