Leanne is a supportive and inclusive therapist with a passion for early intervention and neurodiversity affirming practice. She graduated from the University of Queensland in 2011 and has specialised in the area of supporting autistic children and their families, as well as children with speech and language delays. Leanne also works with children with fluency difficulties.

Leanne offers strengths-based and family-centred support which is positive and collaborative. She is passionate about coaching families to understand and support social communication differences for autistic children. Leanne is trained in a range of early intervention therapy approaches and uses this knowledge to adapt sessions to each individual child and family. She believes that communication is a basic human right and is best supported in a functional and play-based way within a whole community approach (e.g. at home, kindergarten, school).

When she is not working, Leanne enjoys performing theatre and learning Spanish.
