Umbo is a registered NDIS provider that offers speech and occupational therapy services to NDIS participants, private clients and organisations.

We offer a free 15 minute trial consultation with one of our therapists so you can find out if online therapy is right for you.
NDIS Clients
Our NDIS pricing is based on the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits. We invoice separately at these rates for direct time spent working with the client, and indirect time spent preparing notes, materials, writing reports or talking to key workers, teachers, etc. Most NDIS clients see a therapist for their ongoing sessions.

The table below shows the typical hours for different types of assessments. The quoted time includes analysis and report writing time. If the assessment and report takes significantly longer than predicted, we will be in touch.

Private Clients
Therapy
For private clients, we charge an overall price that includes both the time spent directly working with the client and any time spent outside the session preparing notes or materials. If there is any additional time the therapist recommends is needed to be undertaken and therefore billed, this will be discussed with you prior to completion. You will receive an additional invoice for this.

Assessments
Private assessments are charged at an hourly rate of $194 per hour. The fee per assessment is based on the table below and includes direct consultation time with the therapist, and indirect time, which includes analysis and report writing time.
Below is the cost for the maximum hours for each Assessment Level. If the assessment and report takes longer than estimated then we will be in touch to discuss this with you.
We understand that assessments are significant financial outlay for many people to access funding streams such as the NDIS. As a social enterprise, Umbo is dedicated to providing access to allied health services, particularly for people who cannot afford to pay.
If the cost of a private assessment is a significant barrier, we can discuss a payment plan with you. The total amount would need to be paid before we can provide the report. Please let us know if this is something you would like to explore.

Access Pricing
We are a social enterprise working to improve access to speech and occupational therapy in regional Australia. We are always happy to help families in need where we can.
Access pricing may provide a discount or payment plan to those who cannot afford to pay, through a set of criteria. In order to apply for access pricing you will need to complete our onboarding process and undertake a 15 minute call. Once that is complete, we will send you a form and an assessment will be made. Alternatively we can provide advice to people as to where to access other forms of financial support such as interest free loans.
All invoices must be paid in full before a report will be provided.
Organisations
Our organisation rates apply to schools, hospitals, health services, residential aged care providers and Home Care Package (HCP) providers. We invoice separately at these rates for direct time spent working with the client, and indirect time spent preparing notes, materials, writing reports or talking to key workers, teachers, etc.
