Rose Young

Occupational Therapist (she/her)
Lives on Gadigal land

Meet Rose- an Occupational Therapist born and raised in North Carolina USA, who received her Masters in Occupational Therapy at the University of Sydney. After graduating and working as an OT at a non-for profit, Rose decided Sydney was home. Rose has experience working with both kids, and adults as she has worked in disability as a community OT for the majority of her career thus far.

Before becoming an Occupational Therapist, Rose worked in disability as a support worker for 10 years. She was driven at a young age, as she always knew one day, she wanted to be an Occupational Therapist. Rose has an older brother with Autism which has taught her a lot about how to provide the best support for her clients and their families.

Rose has a client centred approach and recognizes there is not a one size fits all approach. She values hearing her clients’ stories and adapts her practice to meet her clients’ needs. Rose is passionate about being an Occupational Therapist and looks forward to supporting her clients at UMBO.
