Shauna Moloney

Speech Pathologist

Shauna graduated from The University of Sydney with a Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology. She loves being a generalist therapist with paediatrics and adults, but has particular interest in speech, voice, stuttering, and feeding and swallowing. She takes a play-based and multi-sensory approach to her sessions, as she believes this optimises each child’s engagement and enjoyment during their appointment. She believes strongly in family-centred practice and building good relationships with each client and their family. Shauna developed a keen interest in supporting regional and rural families during a rural university placement, where she noted a distinct lack of services available.

Shauna is trained in Hanen (It Takes Two To Talk), Key Word Sign, Lidcombe Program, Nuffield Dyspraxia Program, Sounds-Write literacy program, and courses in feeding assessment and management including Electrical Stimulation and sEMG Biofeedback in the Treatment of Dysphagia Course (VitalStim Plus), and the Infant Feeding Foundations Workshop (Carly Veness).
