Taryn is a warm and empathetic Occupational Therapist with over 7 years of experience working with adolescents and adults across diverse South African and Australian contexts, including hospital, clinic, telehealth, and community-based settings. Her work in South Africa includes experience across a range of settings, including under-resourced and underserved communities, which has strengthened her cultural sensitivity, adaptability, and ability to meet clients where they are. She has also completed postgraduate studies in Psychology, which she draws on to inform and enhance her therapeutic approach.

She has a strong focus on mental health and wellbeing, with experience supporting individuals with psychosocial and neurodevelopmental presentations, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Taryn takes a holistic, client-centred approach, working collaboratively with individuals and their support networks to build meaningful, fulfilling lives. She is known for creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel understood and empowered, and she works at each person’s pace—particularly supporting those who may find change or trust challenging. Her practice is strengths-based and practical, using creative and personalised strategies to support lasting change.
