Wendy graduated from the University of South Australia in 2016 and has been an Occupational therapist for over 6 years. She has experience in working with the aged and adult disability population in the community, residential and hospital settings. She has helped many individuals achieve positive outcomes in a variety of funding streams including NDIS, Home Care Packages, Transitional Care Programs, Short Term Restorative Care, Return to Work and Commonwealth Home Support Programs.
Wendy is passionate and dedicated to assisting individuals with maximising their independence and safety to engage in meaningful occupations in order to improve their overall health, well-being and quality of life. She enjoys building a rapport with her clients and considers herself to have a generalist skillset and has a special interest in working with individuals with neurological, orthopaedic and respiratory conditions as well as cognitive impairments.
Wendy has extensive experience in adult rehabilitation, complex client management, and service coordination; including home modifications, assistive technology provision, functional retraining, pressure care management, falls prevention and driving assessments.
In her spare time, Wendy enjoys spending time with her loved ones, cooking, food adventures, music, watching movies and in the company of furry animals.
